With a commitment to delivering excellent care, Ryman continues to innovate and modernise its operations to support residents and staff across its villages.
As part of its broader digital transformation efforts, Ryman Healthcare aimed to streamline its user management process and reduce manual tasks. The existing Active Directory (AD) provisioning process for new users was inefficient and inconsistent, leading to operational delays and issues with data integrity. This inefficiency affected Ryman’s goal of moving towards a paperless environment and hindered their ability to fully leverage technology to improve processes. There was a need for a more effective, automated system to ensure that user information remained accurate and up to date across all systems, improving overall operational efficiency.
Adaptiv worked with Ryman Healthcare to implement a streamlined and automated solution using BizTalk. The solution was designed to align with Ryman’s goal of going paperless across all its retirement villages. By leveraging technology to improve efficiency, the new solution enabled seamless updates to personal information, such as phone numbers, from any system of the user’s choice.
Additionally, the solution supported Ryman’s Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) process, allowing the organisation to manage employee transitions more effectively. This ensured that staff details, including roster information, were consistently updated and easily maintained, reducing administrative workloads and improving data accuracy across all platforms.
As a result of the collaboration with Adaptiv, Ryman Healthcare successfully enhanced its user management processes. Staff members now have access to an updated roster system that allows them to view and maintain their schedules efficiently. Any variations in hours worked are captured accurately, ensuring greater transparency and accuracy in payroll and HR processes.
The automated solution also streamlined the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers process, reducing manual interventions and minimising errors. Overall, Ryman Healthcare now benefits from improved operational efficiency and a more seamless, paperless work environment that aligns with its long-term goals of leveraging technology to enhance both staff and resident experiences.
