The University of Tasmania (UTAS) is one of Australia’s oldest universities, founded in 1890. As a public research university, UTAS plays a crucial role in higher education, serving students from across Australia and internationally. The Challenge

UTAS was working with an outdated integration platform, TIBCO, which was no longer supported and severely limiting the university’s ability to innovate and maintain operational agility. Alongside this, Adaptiv provided a detailed roadmap outlining the steps needed to establish Azure Landing Zones and to begin implementing the integration technology.

As a result of Adaptiv’s engagement, UTAS gained a much deeper understanding of its current state of integration, as well as a clear direction for future improvements. The process workshops and platform assessment led to several recommendations for streamlining operations and improving productivity through better integration.
